Vermont ski trip: renting a condo vs hotel rooms? - vermont ski map
This winter, I take more planning security is a ski trip with the family in Vermont. I want to ski Sugarbush and Mad River hope, but a problem had to decide which would be cheaper: renting an apartment or stay in a hotel (4 people, 5 days, 4 nights). Condos can be fun, with a larger group, because generally there is a large common area, but can be costly and time from the beginning of May. Dwellings outside the mountain front in the middle, much cheaper in May. A good hostel, could be an alternative. I used to in the White Horse Inn, which is conveniently located near the entrance to Mount Ellen. Rent an apartment outside a motel has advantages in the field of nutrition. You can save money by cooking their food. in a motel is not even a mini-fridge to keep cold cans. socilaize you have a living space in a motel room with 2 chairs and beds. not much consolation after a while. How long will you stay in the room? Participation and bars? If you go to see and do not plan, I would rent a hotel room and forgotten. think about what you have in mind and go from there.

Not every hotel chain in Warren, VT Waitsfield area or in one of the condominiums in the valley is not a bad idea. The minimum outside the housing complex are mostly pension seats. There are many ways for rent in this area.

I can not say I was in one of them, as I lived only an hour from two ski and just come home.
If you are going the end of January MRG TIX $ 3.50 on the last Tuesday in January. Sugarbush usually means $ 5 days at Christmas. Get a lift pass and accommodation and the use of one of these days, either at the beginning or end and another day cheap skiing.
